Pan-Seared Shrimp with Garlic Lemon Butter

Tonight I decided to make some Pan-Seared Shrimp with Garlic Lemon Butter using my Classic Joe. These are quick and easy to make and delicious!

INGREDIENTS:

SHRIMP
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 1/2 lbs shrimp, peeled and deveined ( 21/25 count)
  • 1/4 teaspoon table salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon granulated sugar

GARLIC LEMON BUTTER
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 medium garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley leaves
  • 1/8 teaspoon table salt
Directions:

Beat soften butter, garlic, lemon juice, parsley, and salt with fork in small bowl until light, well mixed and fluffy. Set aside.

Pre-heat your Joe to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

Heat 1 tablespoon oil in 12-inch cast iron frying pan until oil starts to boil.

Meanwhile, toss shrimp, salt, pepper, and sugar in medium bowl.

Place half of the shrimp inside the frying pan in single layer and cook until spotty brown and edges turn pink, approximately 1 minute.

Quickly flip the shrimps using tongs, flip each shrimp and let stand until all but very center is opaque, about 30 seconds and remove shrimps and place inside a bowl.

Now its time to melt the Garlic Lemon Butter in the frying pan.
